Dear parent / guardian, staff and pupils,

- Poster Competition to keep our County clean - Young people in Ceredigion are being asked to help encourage everyone to look after our environment.
Ceredigion County Council are working in partnership with Keep Wales Tidy to encourage everyone to look after our county and take their rubbish home. To help spread the message, Ceredigion County Council is asking for primary school aged children to design a poster.
In the poster, please show how littering affects you, your environment and the wildlife, with one of these key messages:
o ‘Take your litter home to recycle’
o ‘If the bin is full, take your litter home’
o ‘Make memories, not mess’
The competition is open to children in school years 1-3 and 4-6. The winners from both age groups will each receive a litter picking kit for them and their family and an eco-activity pack, with every participating school also receiving a free book.
The posters will be used by Ceredigion County Council to advertise the litter picking hubs which will soon be available across Ceredigion, whereby people can borrow litter picking kits.
To enter, please ask a parent or guardian to email the poster to
The deadline for the competition is Friday 8th April at 4:30pm.
