Letter from the Head 26/5/23

Dear parent / guardian, staff and pupils,

• 23.6.23 a training day for staff so the school will be closed for the day.

• Sports 1pm in the school grounds on Tuesday 27.6.23.

• Children's Learning Walk for parents of the classes; Y Gorlan (morning only with Miss Carruthers);  y Ffrydiau and Y Bont (Mrs Howells and Miss Harris) on Wednesday afternoon 5.7.23 from 1pm.

• Children`s Learning Walk for parents of the classes Y Ffynnon (Miss Williams) and y Berllan (Miss Waters) on Friday afternoon 7.7.23 from 1pm. Children will show parent / guardians their work.

• Year 5 children are invited to visit Ysgol Gyfun Emlyn for a transition day on Tuesday, 6^th June. Year 5 child will need to arrive at 9:30am and collected at 2pm. They will need to wear PE clothing; packed lunch unless your child receives free meals. If you would like any other information, please contact the school on 01239 710 447.

• Year 5 are invited to visit for a fun day at Ysgol Uwchradd Aberteifi on Wednesday 12th June and there will be a bus to take the pupils.

• Years 4, 5 and 6 are invited to go to Llechryd`s Cricket Club on Tuesday, 6th June; children need a packed lunch, drink and wear a suncream.

• Visits to Botanical Gardens, Llanarthne for £10:

Leaving school at 8.45am, will need packed lunch and drink, coat, no pocket money.
